Steam wont discover downloaded files






















 ·  · Well, you could look into why the detection doesn't work. Alternatively you could try to recreate the appmanifest file with SteamCMD. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\steamapps\ and move the appmanifest_acf -file in your Steam\steamapps\ -folder. The issue here is that I can't make steam detect the game, because it wants to download it before discovering the files. My internet connection is pretty bad so I don't want to wait 1 to 2 days for the download to complete, that's why I copied the files directly on the SSD. To do that, follow the following steps: Open Steam client. Go to Settings. Select Downloads. Select Steam Library Folders. Right click on folder. Select Repair Folder. Change Download Region.
